Help UPEPC maintain its Firewise certification by reporting the hard work you put in on your property!

A Firewise certification helps determine the amount of federal and state monies allocated to Firewise agencies and property owners for mitigation efforts.
Firewise and UPEPC
Working together to prevent wildfires.

The Union Pass Emergency Preparedness Council (UPEPC) is certified with the National Fire Prevention Association as a Firewise organization. To maintain UPEPC's certification as a Firewise organization, the National Fire Prevention Association requires that our community be committed to reducing the potential for wildfire in our area by completing a minimum amount of mitigation and hardening work on individual properties each year. You can help UPEPC report the community's efforts by using the timesheet provided by the Fremont County Fire Protection District's Firewise Coordinator, Chaz "Smokey" Brown, to track the time and expense you put into your property. Please fill out the timesheet and email it to UPEPC before November 1 each year. We greatly appreciate your work!
