Hello, everyone.

Unfortunately, the Union Pass area was placed under a voluntary evacuation notice on Sunday, Sept. 29, due to the very active Pack Trail Fire. Please see notice here: 461691340_916090477220335_4556153478299144409_n.jpg (1125×1374) (fbcdn.net)
Although the current evacuation notice is voluntary, this is a very serious situation. Please see previous blog posts for information on preparing for an evacuation.
US Hwy 26 west of Dubois was closed for most of the afternoon on Sunday but opened in the evening. Please check WYDOT Travel Information Service (wyoroad.info) for information regarding travel on US 26 and Hwy 287.
If you need shelter during the Pack Trail Fire evacuation, please call Fremont County Emergency Management at 307-856-2374.
